HISTORY: Fujito Kubota, a master gardener & landscaper, gave this park to Seattle in 1987. These splendid acres of lush greenery, feeding ponds & footbridges are painted bright red with gold accents.
Kathryn: Lovely spot for a walk, with plenty of places to sit should you want to enjoy the views. And it's free
Mackenzie C.: Don't miss the top of the waterfall for the view. Also an often overlooked spot for picnics, reading a book, or playing in the grass. Visit during every season! I especially love late Fall and Winter.
Asher Simonds: Perfect taste for the Japanese Americana style enthusiast and those looking for quality modern design from labels across the pond. Plus the jean hemming is quick, affordable, and done correctly!
Matt Giuliari: Customer service is on point - everyone here knows what they are talking about and will help you find the best pair of jeans for you.
Peter Young: No signage on the street, just a glass door with 707 on it leading to some stairs; Store is right up the stairs.
Sean Salmon: On weekends you can rent a pond sailboat, which are super fun to 'sail' - helps support the wooden boat center
Justin Lisenby: Beautiful park on Lake Union. Walk around and enjoy the water, grass, and even some ducks.
Smithsonian Channel: Although they can command high prices today, the first houseboats on Lake Union were little more than floating shacks built to house lumber workers. (From Aerial America) Read more.
