Pastries and coffee are good. Not crazy about the "Eggel." I was expecting a big pile of fluffy scrambled eggs, but instead got one egg fried hard. I'll stick with the herb muffin next time.

You can't beat warm baked goods eaten 10 feet from where they were baked. Everything is good, but my faves are the figgy maple scone and the banana bread.
Many believe that this north Ballard farmhouse spot has the best brunch in town. The Eggs Benedict (a weekends-only brunch special) are a standout, made on house-baked English muffins.
Had to try their eggs Benedict! Avocado version is a bit plain, but the English muffin tastes homemade :)
