Matthew • July 18, 2014This is NOT Grand Central Station. It is a public rooftop plaza at the corner of 3rd Ave & E 40th St. Quite relaxing on a Summer Friday at 5pm. Check it out if you have time to kill b4 a train.

George R. • August 22, 2015Correction to my previous tip, as now shown, they moved to 1710 Broadway. Great staff that always aims to please in the nicer, far more welcoming space, straddling the public plaza.

Andrew F. • October 29, 2015This plaza was remodeled in 2005. The reason it exists is that the zoning board said that 55 Water could be 5 stories taller if they dedicated an acre to public use.
