Sophie B. • August 8, 2011I love it! it's very touristy but the view is great, there is plenty of room, music, and heating in winter!A place where it is essential to discover!
Green Drinks NYC • November 11, 2011This sustainably designed building has it's own geothermal heating and cooling system!
Raul R. • February 22, 2019Heating on the room was broken and because it was all sold, they couldn't change it. We got some points back from the reservation.
Cristina • November 20, 2015I wouldn't mind paying more than the ridiculous prices charged for snacks if they'd use the extra cash for heating oil. Went to a function in mid-Nov and the place was a meat locker. Kept my coat on.
Asli S. • January 24, 2021Try the Khao Soi Kaa Kai! French toast was unique but underwhelming. Cute outdoor setup with baseboard heaters + heating lamp. ~25 min wait at 12:30 on Sunday for 3ppl (no reservations).
Katerina A. • November 29, 2014+Friendly staff, reasonable priced restaurant and my room had a lot of natural light! -Very slow internet connection, the heating dries the whole room so much it hurts your eyes & low shower pressure
André C. • January 21, 2016Week trained personnel and heating boats. Best way to visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
yuenyee M. • November 16, 2010Feeling cold? Sit by the window as the heating system will keep you warm.
Thompson Hotels • May 24, 2011Our concierge Shivali at The Thompson LES says great fun is had at Cocoron heating your own soba at your place with hot coals.
John A. • March 27, 2018Great spot, with celebrities often being there! Also, great food and drinks, and it has heating outside if one chooses to sit there.
Jenny K. • February 17, 2015One of the few places in NYC whose heating system seems up to the challenge of our recent single digit temps. Toasty!
Cat L. • April 1, 2016The lines are frequently so long and service is pretty slow. Management needs to hire more people. The cashier is the one heating up food, filling coffee, and ringing someone up.
Kevin G. • March 11, 2017Cons: Hard to get seating, Im almost always standing Pros: Drink token system is sometimes irritating, but its efficient, and the heating os great, can be outside even on a cold night
Nikki B. • October 1, 2011Love the outdoor seating with Bentley ! Great that there's heating for chilly weather.
Mainon S. • September 25, 2012Tried to order a hot toddy; was told they had no possible way of heating water for such things...
David G. • January 11, 2014Regular place. Good attention. Excellent Location. Bad heating can not regulate
Quique L. • March 21, 2011Old but clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. Do not stay at the 702 room, the heating makes horrible noises in the middle of the night.
Jakub D. • January 31, 2015Slow WiFi, room was bloody cold. How is it possible to have not functional heating in winter??? No more.
Leslie H. • December 29, 2017Definitely overpriced for the holiday. It is a convenient location, if you are fond of walking as we are. This is an old building with typical old building issues: radiator heating, drafty rooms.
Yunus A. • September 15, 2013No heating system in the hotel :)))
Jon D. • January 24, 2013Their persistent B health department rating is a worry. Also, the lack of heating in winter months is annoying.
Kirill P. • February 5, 2011Hotel is old and need renovation badly. Internet is slow. Heating unit is noisy. The good thing is room size!! It's really big!Surprisingly big for New York.
@24K • December 22, 2011Renovations won't be finished until May of 2012 according to James the director. Expect the heating & cooling to not be ideal before the completion.
Clyde A. • February 10, 2019Awful & out of date with a few modern band-aids to compensate, not good enough. The owner/management should be embarrassed about rooms that don’t have good windows, a proper heating and A/c. Too loud.
